Third Wave of Corona's: Lockdown in Karnataka, Haryana, Bengal, Delhi increased restrictions

The Karnataka government, which has announced night curfew before Happy New Year 2022, may soon impose many more stringent restrictions. Delhi, Haryana, West Bengal, and Tamil Nadu have already announced strict restrictions due to the increasing infection of Coronavirus. These states have accepted that the third wave of Corona has knocked in India. The maximum number of cases of corona can be reported in January and February. 

The central government has also swung into action in view of the knock of the new variant of Corona, Omicron Variant in India, and its rapidly increasing cases. The Union Health Secretary has written a letter to the Chief Secretaries of the states asking them to take necessary steps. In view of the situation of corona infection, the center has divided the states into different zones. Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka, has been kept in the Red Zone

Therefore, the Government of Karnataka imposed Night Curfew in the entire state till 7 January. Now the state's Revenue Minister R Ashok has said that the government can take some tough decisions by January 7 to deal with the Omicron variant of Corona and the corona infection. The Revenue Minister said that since Bengaluru has been declared a red zone, we need to be alert. If we put strict restrictions, then we will also be able to save people's lives and will also be able to stop the spread of infection.

Recently, Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai had also indicated that some tough decisions can be taken in the coming days in view of the situation. It is to be known that more than 1,000 infected have been found in Karnataka in a day. At present, the number of corona-infected people in the state is 2,334. On Saturday, 5 people died in Karnataka due to this global epidemic. 

The Omicron variant was the first to knock in Karnataka itself. In the figures released by the central government on Sunday morning, it has been told that the number of people infected with the Omicron variant has reached 64 in the state. On Saturday, Karnataka Education Minister BC Nagesh was found infected with Corona. He has told that he has minor symptoms of Covid 19.

Omicron variant that arrived via Karnataka spread to 23 states

It would be relevant to mention here that the latest variant of coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 ie Omicron has spread in 23 states and union territories of India. According to the data till Sunday morning, the number of people infected with this variant has gone up to 1,525. There are more than 100 cases in five states. Maharashtra has the highest number of 460 people infected with the Omicron variant.

351 Omicron cases have been confirmed in Delhi, 136 in Gujarat, 117 in Tamil Nadu, and 109 in Kerala. 69 in Rajasthan, 67 in Telangana, 64 in Karnataka, 63 in Haryana, 20 in West Bengal, 17 in Andhra Pradesh, 14 in Odisha, 9 in Madhya Pradesh, 8-8 in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, Chandigarh, Jammu and Kashmir 3- 3, 2 cases have been confirmed in Andaman and Nicobar Islands. There have been 1-1 cases in Goa, Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh, Manipur and Punjab.
