On the third day of the Russia-Ukraine war, an Air India plane carrying 219 Indians has taken off from Bucharest, Romania today. This plane had reached there on Saturday. The plane that left from Romania will reach India by 9 o'clock tonight.
219 people are being brought home
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar gave information about bringing 219 Indians home. He said that the work of India to evacuate its citizens from Ukraine is in progress. The External Affairs Minister tweeted, The first flight to Mumbai with 219 Indians has left from Romania. Indian citizens are leaving Ukraine and reaching the neighboring country Romania by road, from where they are being sent home.

16 thousand Indians are stranded
After this plane, a plane from Hungary will leave home with Indian students. The Government of India is ready to return home to the Indians trapped in Ukraine, whose number is being told as 16 thousand, and is making continuous efforts.
Embassy working 24 hours
The embassy is continuously issuing advisories for the Indians trapped in Ukraine and is working 24 hours to help them. After the closure of airspace in Ukraine, the Indian government tried to return Indians via Romania and Poland and advised its citizens to gather at the borders of these countries so that they could be brought home easily.
Government ready for safe return of citizens
Indian Ambassador to Romania Rahul Srivastava said that the Government of India is working day and night for the safe return of its citizens. Our campaign will continue till a single Indian stays on this earth to return. You remember on this day i.e. 26 February.

The end of the war has not yet been made
