David Arkhamia, a member of the Ukrainian delegation who leads the ruling party in parliament, said the delegations met face-to-face in Istanbul on Tuesday after two weeks of video talks. Here, Turkey's top diplomat said that Ankara is working on bringing the foreign ministers of Ukraine and Russia together for talks again. In an interview given to Turkey's 'A Haber' channel, Mevlut Kavusoglu said that this meeting could take place within two weeks. His remarks came after Turkey hosted a one-on-one meeting of Ukraine and Russia's negotiators in Istanbul earlier. Kavusoglu said that the decisions taken during the talks were not fully implemented on the ground. During talks in Istanbul on Tuesday, Ukraine presented an expanded outline of a peace deal under which its country would remain neutral but a group of countries would guarantee its security, including the US, Britain, France, Turkey, China and Poland.
