Kashmir's separatist leader Yasin Malik was today convicted by the NIA Court in Delhi in the terror funding case. Yasin Malik has been found guilty of all charges under the UAPA.

Significantly, in the past , Yasin Malik had accepted that he was involved in terrorist activities and all the allegations leveled against him are true. A decision will be taken on May 25 on how much punishment will be given to Yasin Malik. Who is Yasin Malik

56-year-old Yasin Malik is a separatist leader from Kashmir. He resorted to terrorism for the independence of Kashmir from India and Pakistan. He formed the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front and committed violence for the demand of independent Kashmir. Yasin Malik was instrumental in the killing of Kashmiri Pandits and their exodus to Kashmir. However, he surrendered in 1994 and took the initiative for a peaceful solution.
