Liger producer Charmme Kaur reveals Karan Johar took care of her when she was down with Covid. Here's what she said.
Charmme Kaur is co-producing Liger with Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. The Liger producer not only shares a professional relationship with Karan but also has a good personal equation with him. In a recent media interaction, Charmme revealed Karan looked after her when she was diagnosed with Covid. Charmme also mentioned that Karan is the easiest person to work with. She added that he is always one call away.
'KARAN WAS LIKE A FAMILY'
Revealing how Karan took care of her when she was down with Covid, Charmme Kaur said, "During Covid, I was extremely unwell. I almost thought I was not going to make it. I was that bad. And this man [Karan] was like family to us in Mumbai. He made sure he sent doctors to me. He made sure my medication was done correctly and made sure I came out of Covid. He would keep calling and checking on me. He would keep sending doctors and checking on me. My Covid lasted for a month. It was that bad. I had got the Delta version and at that time, the cocktail injections and nothing was there."

She further added, "People know the professional side of him, that he makes a huge impact to the film. But he has made an impact on us in our personal lives. I can call Karan anytime and ask him anything. And he will be there."
ON THE WORK FRONT
Meanwhile, on the work front, Charmme and Karan's film Liger is all set to release on August 25, 2022. Directed by Puri Jagannadh, Liger stars Ananya Panday, Vijay Deverakonda, Ramya Krishnan and Mike Tyson. The film is jointly produced by Dharma Productions and Puri Connects.
