WHEN KAJAL SPOKE ABOUT HER LOVE STORY

Kajal Aggarwal married businessman Gautam Kitchlu in 2020, adding a new dimension to her career. The two dated for three years before tying the knot.

She once told Vogue: "Gautam and I dated for about three years, and then we were friends for seven. We have progressed in every stage of being friends and been very important in each other’s lives. amidst the lockdown, when we didn’t see each other for a few weeks—at best, we would catch a glimpse behind a mask at a grocery store—we realised that we wanted to be together.”

ON THE WORK FRONT

Kajal Aggarwal was roped in to star opposite Chiranjeevi in Acharya. Her scenes were, however, edited out as director Koratala Siva felt that they did not fit the narrative. Acharya, which featured Ram Charan and Pooja Hegde in key roles, did not do well. Kajal is set to resume the shoot of Indian 2 in September. The Shankar-directed movie features her as the leading lady opposite Kamal Haasan.
