Jamshedpur: After killing the city's textile trader Dharmendra Singh on Thursday, the accused and his accomplices kept the dead body in a bag and roamed around the city for hours. Meanwhile, he called his son from the businessman's mobile and asked for a ransom of 50 lakhs. On the complaint of the son, the police launched a campaign and arrested the accused Vishwajeet Pradhan near Kadma DBMS School at around 2.20 pm on Thursday. Police recovered the body of the businessman from the bag kept in the trunk.

Police is busy in arresting other people involved in the incident. On the statement of businessman's son Golu Singh, an FIR has been registered in Sakchi police station against Vishwajeet Pradhan and others for murder. The murder was done by hitting the head with a bat. After the incident, the accused shopped for the bag and kept the body in the bag and kept it in the trunk of the car and kept roaming. Helmet and broken wicket had been put on top of the bag, so that there is no doubt.
