Gyanvapi Masjid Survey: The survey of the second day has been completed in Gyanvapi Masjid premises. The survey started here at 8 am, which lasted for about three and a half hours. During this, the dome and western end of the mosque were videographed. During this, there are reports of carved figures, and religious figures appearing on the walls. A large number of security personnel were deployed around the Gyanvapi Mosque. The movement of vehicles was stopped by barricading at various places.
The survey work of Gyanvapi Mosque in Varanasi was done amid tight security arrangements. The commission proceedings lasted from 8 am to 12 noon on the second day of the survey. Let us inform that 50 percent of the survey work was completed on the very first day itself. On Sunday, after the basement inside, videography and photography of the upper structure of the mosque was done. During this, there was a tight security arrangement in the campus. According to the order of the court, the DM had directed the Anjuman Inazaniya Masajid Committee to get the locks opened in advance. After which the team surveyed the four rooms one by one.
The domes of the Gyanvapi Mosque were also surveyed for the first time. Regarding these domes, Hindu parties say that this dome has been built over the structure of Hindu temples. During the survey, the pillars, doors and walls in the basement were measured. The height of the pavilion was measured with the thickness of the walls. The dust accumulated from the figures raised on the pillars was removed.
