According to Dr. Diksha, coconut oil is liquid gold when it comes to helping your body heal. It helps to increase your metabolic rate which will help to increase the heat in your body (Many people with thyroid disease have cold hands and feet due to their internal body temperature.)
The good thing about coconut oil is that it is digested differently. You do not need bile salts to digest it. Coconut passes rapidly from your intestine to your liver. It puts very little load on your stomach and your liver.
