Corona Vaccination in India Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, while giving information on Friday, said that so far more than one crore children in the age group of 12-14 in the country have been given the first dose of anti-Covid-19 vaccine.

Corona Vaccination in India Amidst the increasing number of corona-infected patients in many countries of the world, the figures of Covid-19 vaccination in India are making new records every day. Giving information on Friday, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said that so far more than one crore children in the age group of 12-14 in the country have been given the first dose of anti-Covid-19 vaccine. The vaccination of beneficiaries of this age group started on March 16 and they are being vaccinated against Corbevax. Two doses of which are to be given at an interval of 28 days.

Union Minister congratulated

Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya Mandaviya tweeted that more than one crore children in the age group of 12-14 have taken the first dose of  Covid-19 Vaccine. Congratulating all the young warriors who got the Covid vaccine, he has said to continue this pace. Let us inform that a total of 182.55 crore doses of anti-Covid-19 vaccine have been given in the country so far.

Let us inform that after the arrival of 1,685 new cases of corona in a day in India, the number of people infected with the corona virus in the country so far increased to 4,30,16,372. At the same time, the number of patients under treatment has come down to 21,530. According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry at 8 am on Friday, after the death of 83 more people in the country, the number of people who lost their lives due to infection increased to 5,16,755. The number of patients under treatment for Covid-19 in the country has come down to 21,530, which is 0.05 percent of the total cases. At the same time, a decrease of 897 was registered in the number of patients under treatment in the last 24 hours. The national rate of recovery of patients is 98.75 percent.

Vaccine dose given to more than 182.55 crores so far

At the same time, more than 182.55 crore doses of anti-Covid-19 vaccines have been given so far under the nationwide vaccination campaign. It is noteworthy that on 7 August 2020, the number of infected in the country had exceeded 20 lakh, on 23 August 2020, 30 lakh and on 5 September 2020, more than 40 lakh. The total cases of infection crossed 50 lakh on 16 September 2020, 60 lakh on 28 September 2020, 70 lakh on 11 October 2020, 80 lakh on 29 October 2020 and 90 lakh on 20 November. On 19 December 2020, these cases had crossed one crore in the country. At the same time, on May 4 last year, the number of infected had crossed 20 million and on June 23, 2021, it crossed 30 million. Whereas, on 26 January this year, the cases had crossed 4 crores.
